Use case · Network visualization
The diagram on the wall was accurate the day it was drawn. Phantom builds the map from the network's real adjacencies and keeps it current — so what you're looking at is what's actually running.
How Phantom does it
Before a maintenance window, an engineer clicks a core link and marks it down in the simulation. The map immediately shades two remote sites that would be left with a single path and one that would go dark entirely — turning a risky guess into a planned change, before anyone touches the hardware.
